One of Peru’s leading banks faced the challenge of defining its Information Technology (IT) Outsourcing strategy and conducting a procurement process to select a reliable provider.
Scope
To address these needs, the following activities were carried out:
- IT Strategy Development: A comprehensive IT strategy was created and a future roadmap for the IT area was designed.
- RFP Creation: A Request for Proposal (RFP) document was developed to serve as the basis for vendor selection.
- Market Study: An exhaustive market study was conducted to identify and select the most suitable suppliers.
- Proposal Evaluation: The proposals submitted by the suppliers were evaluated, taking into account various criteria.
- Negotiation with the Provider: We led the negotiation process with the selected provider in order to establish a solid and beneficial contract.
Results
The bank was able to define a sound IT strategy and select a reliable provider through a well-structured process that included strategy development, provider evaluation and effective negotiation. This enabled it to move forward with confidence in its IT outsourcing strategy.
